It felt like a continuation of when my name started disappearing from conversations.

I noticed it in how people spoke to me. Shorter messages. Fewer explanations.
My role was understood well enough not to require interaction.
I had become part of how things functioned, not part of how things were discussed.
I wasn’t overlooked—I was absorbed.
The feeling echoed the earlier realization that being needed didn’t guarantee being seen.
